Oh No, Not Again an Article About Faith 

Again, an article about faith? Seriously? Yes, indeed, this is another article about faith, but 
perhaps with a slightly different approach than you are used to. This time, it’s not about 
explaining the factual meaning or definition of faith. Many theologians have already written in
depth analyses on the actual meaning of faith. 

No, I want to invite you to stop defining faith and start having faith. Without faith, there is no 
connection possible with our beloved God. Start practicing faith in your daily life. It is easier 
than one may think. Use the armor of God, be educated about biblical instructions, and simply 
believe in Him. 

You maintain your car, fill it up with fuel, and when you get into your car, you have faith it will 
start and take you where you want to go. You focus more on getting to your destination than on 
the carburetor injecting fuel into the cylinder or the spark plug igniting the gasoline. You have 
faith that it will work as it should, so you believe in it and start singing along with your favorite 
tune on the car radio. Did you believe and have faith your radio would make sound? 

Our faith should be described as childlike faith in the unseen reality of God. Let me make an 
important distinction: I wrote 'unseen reality of God,' not 'un-experienced,' as it can certainly be 
experienced. Your childlike faith will be rewarded not only with inner peace and an 
unexplainable certainty about what comes after death. The Love of God for His creation, who 
have faith in Him, will manifest in the most unexpected ways. Even in moments of total chaos, 
the Creator will take your hand, guide you through it all, and bring you home safely. Listen to 
the Holy Spirit and act on faith to what He is urging you to do. 

Earlier, I mentioned the maintenance of a car - fueling it and ensuring it is safe and ready to go. 
Approach your relationship with God in the same way. Fill your heart with love, believe in God 
as the beginning and the end, the start and finish, if you will. Fuel yourself to the brim with the 
word of God and maintain a good connection through daily prayer. Share everything with Him, 
who will be there for you in ways you may not understand or anticipate. 

Let me reiterate: Our Lord desires us to have childlike faith in the unseen reality of His 
existence. Understand this: Without God, faith has no meaning; without faith, a relationship with 
God is impossible. Both exist in harmony and are inseparable. Lord Jesus made that very clear. 

And when doubt manifests its nasty habit of interference, tell it to get behind thee. Just as Jesus 
said, “Get thee behind me, Satan,” you can say, “Evil doubt, get thee behind me.” In the New 
Testament Gospels of Matthew 16:23 and Mark 8:33, we read that Jesus used these words when 
Simon Peter expressed doubt about the path to the cross. Lord Jesus recognized the temptation to 
challenge God’s plan and avoid suffering and His eventual death. By rebuking Peter, Jesus 
emphasized the importance of following God’s will rather than human desires or fears. 

Dear fellow believer, 

I know it is not always easy to stay on top of your game. We are attacked daily by the servants of 
the evil one, and we know it will only get worse. Even our global society is showing more signs 
of moving toward the final end as predicted in Revelation. If we were proficient in being true and 
perfect followers of Christ, we would have already been brought home. But alas, we are not, and 
so we continue in faith and with unparalleled determination. Indeed, the armor of God and 
childlike faith will bring us to our final destination - a mansion where we will rejoice together 
and praise our Lord.
